Governor Kimani Wamatangi Leads in Own Source Revenue (OSR) Collection
The Governor of Kiambu County has received accolades from across the country for raising the bar of own source revenue (OSR) collection in the country.
Kimani Wamatangi has shown tremendous leadership in revenue collection across the 12 sub-counties under his leadership since he came into office two years ago.
The county raised KSh1.64B in OSR, against a self-made target of KSh8 billion to help fund the KSh22B county budget.
Governor Wamatangi has always been an ambitious leader, and a go-getter, and as other leaders set low targets for their counties, he set a high target and is pushing the different officers to grow the county in revenue collection and other positive metrics.
Nairobi led the country in OSR collection KSh3.69B, Narok KSh2.93B, Kiambu KSh1.64B, Mombasa KSh1.61B, Nakuru KSh1.19B, Nyeri 0.57B, Homabay KSh0.57B, Kisumu KSh0.43B, Laikipia KSh0.43B and Bungoma KSh0.42B.
