Two young sisters,12 and 16
Two young sisters, aged just 12 and 16, from Kenana Primary School in Njoro, Nakuru County, have been left broken and too ashamed to return to school for more than a week after a humiliating incident no child should ever endure from a teacher.
According to reports, the two girls were mocked and embarrassed in front of nearly 20 teachers by a female teacher who singled them out for not wearing underwear. Instead of showing compassion and addressing the matter privately, she went further to “confirm” in front of the entire staff room, subjecting the little girls to ridicule and emotional trauma that no child should be put through.
Now these sisters, who only wanted to learn and build a better future, are left carrying wounds that go deeper than anyone can see. Their dignity was stripped away in a place that was supposed to protect and nurture them.
