It was a Very sad moment in Kiambu and Nairobi as the fraternity of on-line drivers moans yet another woman who was killed in the line of duty.
Elizabeth Mumbua Muloki a mother of three From Mombasa met a passenger through an online application and they did a few trips. Having had a good ride in Mombasa the client asked Victoria to arrange for an offline ride on September 27 to Samburu Kwale County.
Her Body was later to be discovered a long Maimahiu- Naivasha Highway in a thicket in Lari Kiambu County and was taken to Nairobi City Mortuary where it was positively identified by the family members.
A ssuspect Edwin Ngetich Kipkemoi was arrested at Pipeline junction along Nakuru – Nairobi highway while driving a Nissan Serena KDQ 182F belonging to the slain Victoria Mumbua. This was made possible by the effective communication by drivers from Mombasa, Nairobi and Nakuru respectively.
The postmortem result conducted by government pathologist Johansen Oduor revealed that The 35 years mother of three was bitten repeatedly with a blunt object before being strangled to death. It was also revealed that She had tried to defend herself by fighting the attacker.
