12-Year-Old Bridget Njoki Wainaina
A family in Ndumberi, Kiambu County, is mourning the sad death of their 12-year-old daughter, Bridget Njoki Wainaina.
Bridget, a Class 7 pupil from Kiriguini village, was killed by a stray bullet while inside her home. The incident happened during the Saba Saba protests on Monday.
Bridget was at home, hoping to stay safe as protests went on outside. Sadly, a live bullet hit her while she was inside, and she did not survive.
The community is shocked and heartbroken by the loss of the young girl, who had her whole future ahead of her.
Many people are now calling for answers and justice for Bridget.
