Shalkido
Musician Shalkido is in ICU after a serious hit-and-run accident while riding his motorbike early this morning. Comedian Oga Obinna, who was with him earlier in Thika, said they left a club together but parted ways around 4:07 a.m. near Kahawa. Shalkido took his bike while Obinna drove home.
At 4:42 a.m., Ultra Care Ambulance Services got a call from bodaboda riders who found Shalkido lying on the road along Thika Superhighway between Car Wash and Githurai after being hit by a car that sped off. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Obinna later confirmed that doctors said Shalkido has brain swelling, bleeding, and a fractured leg. The case has been reported at Kasarani Police Station, where his damaged motorbike is being held as investigations contin
