6th Mount Kenya South Bishop, Rt. Rev. Charles Muturi
The Mount Kenya South Diocese is leaving nothing to chance as the congregation comprising thousands marks 40 years of ministry in the country. Led by their Bishop, Rt. Rev. Charles Muturi, the Diocese will climax the celebrations with a marathon on 16th November 2024 flagged off at Senior Chief Koinange and end at Bishop Kariuki Centre in Kabete, Kiambu County.
The church has invited all Kenyans from across ages, corporates, and counties to celebrate with them. The winners in the marathon will take home a car, land title deed and other prizes. The Archbishop, Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, visited the Diocese and blessed the car, and title deed (picture below) that shall be among the prizes.
The Torch of Faith was physically passed across the more than 200 parishes in Kiambu, Kajiado and Nairobi Counties. The Diocese has one of the best performing Saccos in the country, Dimkes DT Sacco which was initiated by the Mothers Union.
