Senior police officer Agnes Ndanu is under investigation after her girlfriend, Nicole Omondi, was seriously injured following a fall from the sixth floor of an apartment building in Thome Estate, Kasarani, Nairobi.
According to reports, Ndanu and Omondi, who had been in a relationship for about three years, spent the evening at an entertainment venue before returning to their apartment. It is alleged that the two got into a heated argument after accusing each other of cheating. During the incident, Nicole fell from the sixth floor of the apartment. Investigators are still trying to establish whether she was pushed or jumped. She survived the fall but suffered multiple fractures and serious spinal injuries. She is currently receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital, where doctors are attending to her condition

Reports indicate that Agnes Ndanu later attempted to visit Nicole at the hospital but was turned away by her relatives. Her current whereabouts remain unclear.
Ndanu previously served as the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at International House Police Station. She was reportedly transferred to Kinyui Police Station in Matungulu about a month ago after concerns were raised over her alleged drinking habits. It is also reported that she is the daughter of a retired senior police officer.
No arrests have been made so far, and police say investigations into the incident are ongoing.
