Kindiki or Rigathi? Which side are you politician on?
In the last few months, it is evident who is supporting who in the political chess game of Kiambu County.
Yesterday, a group of MPs were at the official residence of the Deputy President in Karen, a show of their allegiance to DP Kithure Kindiki.
A list of MPs in Kiambu, and their supposed political leaning, with the Ruto/Kindiki scooping the highest number of 9/12, Rigathi Side 2/12, and one not vocal about his affiliation.

Senator Karungo WaThangwa is a firm supporter of the Rigathi Side, while Woman Rep Anne Wamuratha supports the Ruto/Kindiki team.
Governor Kimani Wamatangi @KWamatangi https://x.com/KWamatangi has in several meetings said that he would not engage in politics until the year 2027, and would instead concentrate on development and fulfilling his promises to the people of Kiambu County.
Meanwhile, the Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) of Kiambu County have been seen to be firm supporters of the Rigathi side and visited him while he was still DP, and also hosted him in the County.
