Bishop Ben of (JCM) delivered a compelling reflection on Kiambu County’s transformation since the onset of devolution, singling out the tenure of Governor Kimani Wamatangi as a period of tangible progress and visible change.
In his powerful address, the Bishop noted that the county has undergone immense infrastructural and socio-economic development, especially since Wamatangi assumed office. He emphasized that the fruits of devolution are finally being felt by the common mwananchi.
“There’s a remarkable difference since Governor Wamatangi took over. You can see and feel the change on the ground. Development is no longer a promise it’s happening,” Bishop Ben affirmed.
He further applauded the county’s expanded bursary program, explaining that it has eased the financial burden on families and allowed him, as a church leader, to continue supporting students within his congregation.
The Bishop encouraged the community to rally behind Governor Wamatangi’s transformative agenda and resist efforts to politicize meaningful development.
