Former President Uhuru Kenyatta today addressed the Jubilee Party Special National Delegates Conference (NDC) with a message of courage, renewal and hope. He reminded Kenyans of Jubilee’s achievements during its time in government, including new roads, improved health services and affordable healthcare through programmes like Linda Mama.

Uhuru criticised the current administration for dismantling systems that were working and replacing them with untested ideas that have left many Kenyans struggling. He said Jubilee will continue to stand for proven progress and the welfare of the people.

He also spoke about the challenges Jubilee has faced in recent years, saying the party is now firmly back in his hands. Uhuru outlined a plan to rebuild Jubilee through new grassroots recruitment, stronger organisation and a generational change in leadership — bringing in young leaders with the energy and vision to guide the party into the future.

Most importantly, he confirmed that Jubilee will be on the ballot in 2027, fielding candidates across the country either independently or in coalition with like-minded parties. “The work of rebuilding Jubilee starts now,” he said.
