Police in Kikuyu have arrested a University of Nairobi student suspected of fatally stabbing his roommate after a dispute over bathroom use. The victim, identified as Brian Wambui, a third-year student, succumbed to suspected stabbing injuries.
According to witnesses, the dispute between the roommates originated from issues related to toilet use and cleaning. The two quarreled over who should flush and clean the hostel toilet. His body has been moved to PCEA Thogoto Hospital mortuary for post-mortem, while the suspect, Justus Otieno, is being held at Kikuyu Police Station pending investigations and arraignment
