Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has been arrested the Former Kiambu Governor Waititu.
Governor was going around his business when he was ambushed and arrested by the DCI officials attached to Nairobi DCI headquarters and is held at their Head Quarters along Kiambu road. Accompanying Waititu is the Former Cs Eugene Wamalwa and his Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru.
Waititu is accused of having made some hate speech remarks during an event here in Kiambu County Speaking in Kikuyu.
Ndegwa said this was just a move meant to have the former Governor incriminate self in the allegations and directed his client to remain silent as the constitution provides.
In the recent past the Former governor was sighted in several occasions supporting the embattled Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua citing that other Politicians from the central region are being controlled and are rallying against the Mount Kenya kingpin.
