The Accident happened in the wee hours at Migaa near Salgaa along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway, involving a lorry and Matatu shuttle. It engaged a trailer that had rammed into a Kitale shuttle Matatu from behind apparently after losing control,
A lorry carrying coffee seeds hit the shuttle from behind and dragged it through the separation wall as the two vehicles descended the stretch. Police have confirmed that no survivors from the shuttle and the lorry driver also succumbed while being taken to the hospital, the lorry driver also succumbed on the spot.
At least 13 people were killed in a road accident. Police spokesperson Muchiri Nyaga confirms.
