Dennis Gitonga
A birthday celebration in Naivasha ended in tragedy after 24-year-old Dennis Gitonga collapsed and died at the popular Olkaria Geothermal Spa.
Dennis had travelled from Nairobi with friends on September 7 to celebrate his birthday. Sadly, the day took a dark turn when he suddenly collapsed while at the spa.
According to KenGen, lifeguards and medical staff at the facility rushed to give him first aid before transferring him to Naivasha Level IV Hospital. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Friends, family, and netizens have since flooded social media with condolence messages, expressing shock and sorrow over his sudden passing. Many have also raised questions about the circumstances that led to his death.
What was meant to be a joyful day of celebration ended as a heartbreaking loss.
