A tragic incident has occurred on Kindaruma Road in Kilimani, where 25-year-old Lee Owino died after falling from the 14th floor of an apartment building during a violent fight with his 48-year-old girlfriend.
The couple had checked into the apartment on Friday, November 28, 2025, to spend the weekend together. According to police reports, on Saturday, a male friend joined them and the three partied heavily until early Sunday morning.
After the friend left, an argument started between Owino and his girlfriend. The disagreement reportedly turned into a physical fight. Police say Owino assaulted the woman, and during the struggle, while she asked him to leave, she is believed to have pushed him over the balcony. Owino fell onto the roof of a parked car below and died on the spot.
The woman was arrested and is expected to appear in court as investigations continue. Police are also searching for the man who was with them before the incident.
At the scene, officers recovered assorted drugs and several bottles of alcohol. Owino’s body has been taken to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
