Gov Wamatangi looks inside the shell of his wife's car left behind after night destruction of his private businesses
Kiambu, January 14, 2026 – Kiambu County Governor Kimani Wamatangi expressed unwavering faith despite the devastating destruction of his wife’s car in the night destruction of his private business near Nyayo Stadium.
The Governor boldly declared, “in the hand of God, there are many cars.”
Speaking publicly, Wamatangi detailed how the vehicle, which belongs to his wife, was discovered at the scene, crushed by an excavator, and then buried under another car.
“That car belongs to my wife. It was found there, and hit with an excavator, and another car put on top of it. But in all these things, it is okay. In the hand of God, there are many cars, because he is one who gives people cars,” said Gov Wamatangi.
He added that they who destroyed his property, and those of his tenants had not cut off his hands, or taken away his brain or thinking.
