Summary of resolution of the joint Kenya Kwanza-ODM parliamentary group meeting held at the KCB Leadership Institute, Karen.

1. Unity of Purpose and Cohesion of the Country: Resolved to put aside partisan divisions and work together to advance the national interest above partisan political expediency.
2. Implementation of the 10-point Agenda: Resolved to show commitment and work together in a joint resolve to fight corruption to protect the integrity of institutions and their leadership.
3. Parliamentary Cooperation in the National Interest: Resolved to recognize the mandate of Parliament as the people’s institution.
4. Commitment to National dialogue and inclusivity: Resolved to actively participate in constructive deliberations to ensure national unity, socio-economic development, rule of law, peace, and security for all Kenyans.
5. Commitment to the legislative and policy issues regarding the 10 (MoU): Resolved to prioritize policy, legislative, and administrative proposals that will be made by the Committee Overseeing Implementation of the NADCO Report and the 10-Point Agenda.
6. Retreat for the joint parliamentary group: Resolved that a retreat for the joint Parliamentary Group shall be organized later in the year. Conclusion: All leaders are called upon to eschew mere populism and demonstrate sound and objective leadership that fosters and sustains national harmony and cohesion.
